I'm sure it's incredibly simple, but I'm brand new at this  and couldn't find an answer in searching the faq's - so forgive my ignorance - but... how do I back up my Outlook 2007 that came installed on my T61? I'd like to be able to back up all contact files/emails/calendar events onto a dvd. Just in case...

    My system uses Vista.

    Thanks.

Sounds too easy! But I'll give it a shot.

    Thanks. ;)

    Microsoft Outlook Backup

It's free. It's from Microsoft. It works.

Note that the addin says it's for office 2000/2003, but it works fine with 2007 (as does the office sounds addin).

Create folder somewhere called Outlook Backup. Once you install the addin go to File>Backup. Set the location to the created folder and select an update interval.

Note: When outlook is open the pst file is locked by outlook. The addin backs the pst file up when you close outlook.
