Lately I've had problems burning CDs using Itunes on my laptop. The thing is, I can't seem to figure out if it's just Itunes or a combination of Itunes and my blank CDs. I have a spindle of Memorex "Cool Colors" CD-Rs and some work in Itunes while others don't, but all work when I burn a disc using Windows Media Player. Here's what I have figured out through trial and error--

    - All of the discs in the spindle that were black colored worked using Itunes.

    - Almost all of the other colored discs failed using Itunes, but one worked as I recall.

    - All of the other colored discs have worked when I use Windows Media Player to burn.

I have also tried using a different brand of CD-R (not sure which off the top of my head) and Itunes created another coaster. It seems apparent to me that Itunes is failing here, but only with certain CD-Rs. If I can just find a brand of CD-R that I know works without spending tons of money with trial and error I think I'll be fine. I can't keep using WMP to burn because most of my music is only in M4A and I don't want to have to convert tracks every time I want a new CD.

If you have any other ideas I'd love to hear them.
