I'm tired of the same old same old Windows screen savers (starfield, flowerbox, mystify, etc).

Are there any fun screen savers that won't adversely affect battery life?

I like airplanes, hockey, beer, PC games, computers, but am open to anything.

    Thanks!

Is this for Windows XP only?

Does it really matter? XP or Vista. Really more for my Vista notebook than anything else.

No screensaver at all if you want more battery life.

Well, and I shouldn't even turn my notebook ON if I want more battery life. I am plugged in quite a bit, so then it doesn't matter, but if I unplug I don't want battery to drain a lot.

Screensavers are pointless nowadays... just let the screen turn off. Will give your backlight lamps more life.

Sheesh, if I needed a lesson in screen saver management I would have asked.

I don't like my screen exposed for a long period of time, and don't care for a blank screen. I'm not worried about backlight lamp life. I had a Sony Vaio for nearly seven years and never had to worry about the backlight.
