The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. ok, SphereTimer isn't working too well for me... when the timer alarm rings, I sometimes can't shut it off without closing the whole gadget. That's a dealbreaker for me. So I replaced it with CTControl, which has a timer that works fine, but it also has some other stuff I don't need or want, like the power/restart/lock icons. I'm going to try to edit the source code for one or both of these gadgets to be the way I like it.
