    Heya,

So I was fooling around resising my D: partition to intall xp (I have Vista on C) but now realise that i must have messed up the BCD or what not, for I cannot use the MSI option at boot (f3) to reintall my laptop to fatory status.

The Hidden recovery partition is still there, and I have not touched it whatsoever, I guess its the the BCD or whatever tells it to boot that has disappeared.

Anyway any help to recreate it, so that i can reinstall my system would be greatly appreciated, MSI finding it too hard to furnish a vista install disc with their laptops....

    cheers

Why did insist on buying another Microsoft based system.

Anyway, so I have no options?

You can recover recovery partition by recovery disc. Test disk software will also help you

Have you tried talking to MSI's technical support people directly? They're the most likely to know how to get back your MSI hidden partition.
