    How do i reformat my hard drive on my laptop? I thought you had to make some type of backup cd.

    How can i get the dell xp cd. I did not get one when i bought my laptop, so i probably have to call dell tech support so that they can send me one right? And if i have some type of virus on my computer, will the restore partition work?
