I'm one of those people that likes to reformat quite often. I'd say I do it at least twice a year. Now, from what I understand, a Vista key can only be activated once, so if that's the case, every time I want to do a complete reformat, I'd have to have a new activation code? Does Microsoft allow that (without buying a new code every time)? Or is there a way to do a complete wipe of the HDD while keeping my copy of Vista intact? Technically, I have free access to Vista Business activation codes while I'm in my university program, but I don't want to annoy the tech so often to get activation numbers.
If you're a reformat fiend like I am, what are you going to do with Vista?

A Vista key can only be activated once? I know a key can only be on one machine at a time but I didn't know it could only be activated once.
If you called Microsoft they should re-active the key. -
One key is registered with one computer. Unless you make significant change (motherboard) then it should reactivate with no problem upon reinstallation. Iv done it many times already (installed Vista at least 8 times lol). Worked every single time.
