Hey guys! I have an NP9370 laptop with the 60Hz "90% Color Gamut" panel. I was sitting up really late last night fidgeting with this laptop trying to make it better. I was looking for 120Hz panels, but I came across an LCD monitor overclocking thread. I'm aware of "overclocking" monitors, and I've done that to my NEC 1250+ CRT that I use with my desktop. Since my desktop is broke down, I have pretty non-responsive game-play with 60Hz on my laptop's panel. I never knew LCDs were capable of being overclocked like CRTs are. I've overclocked my laptop's 90% color gamut panel to 100Hz from 60Hz. No artifacts that I'm aware of. I tried going to 105Hz, and it started to artifact greatly. I tried values slightly under 105Hz, but the artifacts were slightly there although they greatly diminished. 101-102Hz seemed fine, but what's the point. So, I just stuck to a solid/stable 100Hz.
Question
The problem is that this refresh rate won't stick in games. So, how I do get 100Hz to stick in games?
I know I'm getting 100Hz outside of gaming. Windows tells me it's set to 100Hz. Nvidia control panel tells me it's set to 100Hz. Blur Busters UFO Motion Tests tells me I'm getting 100Hz.
I go and turn on "v-sync" in UT2004 and CS:GO. I check how many frames I'm getting and it's telling me 60! I have no idea what's going on. Please help!

Make sure you select 100Hz in-game as well.
