Emmm... what's the difference between usual "insert usb with windows and double-click setup.exe"?

Oh yeah, found. This new tool doesn't let you save your settings and programs. So when you refresh your OS it's "not wise" to keep your old settings in terms of stability but when you have older OS you keep getting spam and trojans for a year to make "easy upgrade keeping your apps and settings, yay!"

    Unbelievable.

Instead of fixing the lack of in place upgrade option on unbootable installs (something that windows lacks since the Vista release) they are working on a such useless and redundant tool

Yeah I was trying to figure out the point of this? I mean Win 10 already makes it super easy to refresh, and even wipe the unused space on the drive all at the same time. I've done it for a dozen machines I've sold lol. I think the easiest way to do that is from the advanced startup or even a system repair disk or whatever they call it in 10.

My guess is this "tool" just makes it easier to start from within a windows install without having to know how to get to the advanced startup menu or create a repair/recovery disk.

and without having to know how to make bootable USB flash drive or where to find your win10 USB if you bought one.
