Are there free registry fix programs out there where you don't have to pay for? If there are what are they. Are they worth getting? I downloaded the registry fix program from this website: http://www.registryfix.com/
I don't really want to pay the money for it. Becuase im sure there is a freeware of this. Are these legit? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you!

I would caution against registry cleaning programs. Truth is, they generally do more harm than good. You could screw your whole install if they delete or 'fix' the wrong key. There also is not a lot of performance to be gained by cleaning the registry. Certainly not enough considering the risk. I am sure there are several that many will recommend, just be very careful.

I have used RegScrubXP for years without incident, but as always when dealing the registry on must be careful.

I have used CCleaner without a single problem. It has a small and simple registry cleaner.
