Any suggestions for good ones? Apparently QuickSys messes up 7 when it defrags and Auslogics is shareware ...

Advanced System Care (free) includes reg defrag and worked well on my W7 installation.

I wouldn't mess with the registry of a beta OS. Defragging it wont really help much anyway.

    QFT!

    1) It barely offers any noticable difference if any at all.

    2) I would never try it on a new OS such as 7 as programs have not been written specifically to deal with Win 7, and even if you did find one that is supposedly supporting Win 7, give it some time to mature and have bug fixes.

    Two words: Snake Oil ;)

I tried defragging my registry on my XP machine and saw 0 improvements in overall system speed and response. Use at your own risk or should I say detriment if something gets fudged up along the way.
