Can anyone tell me how to load a registry hive from another computer on a Windows 7- 64 bit machine? The hive I want to load is on an XP pro machine. I just need to edit some things so I can get the computer to boot.

Do I need third party software? If so, do you have any recommendations? Free software would be better.

I have tried the regedit on Windows 7 but it doesnt' seem to work the way it used to on XP.
