Im looking for a software that only detects changes to windows run registry entries and gives you the option to allow/block them of course. Is there one ?![]()

Spybot Search & Destroy does that. When installing just turn off the miscellaneous other features it includes. I use it only to detect those changes and have been happy with it.

The "Teatimer" app ?

I believe the 'Tea Timer' is the part of the program associated with detecting the registry changes. From experience I can say it has never bothered me with any messages other than registry changes, so it seems to be what you're looking for. This is what The company's website describes 'Tea Timer' as being responsible for:

Great, sounds like what im looking for ill give it a shot, thanks
Too bad it uses 53mb + of ram
-
Windows defender + SkyNet Sub does that mate
-
Yea but it also takes around 40-50mb in memory
Thats why i was looking for something that does only that job, hopefully it will use less resources too
-
Defender Consumes 40-50mb for you
for me its ~20mb at any given time :rolleyes2:
-
its uses almost 45mbs when i press the "start service" button
-
Sysinternals' autoruns, with the output being saved to a text file and a batch file running to compare each new run to the then-existing prior run.

ZAAV does this on my machine

Im sure Zone Alarm products use even more resources, plus has other functionalities too. Looking for something that only tracks registry changes or if its possible only the startup ones and takes as less resources as possible
Or else i could have just sticked with Comodo firewall -

If you are really running what you have in your sig you hardly need to be concerned about resources.

Yea that is true but i also have problems with performance
i always want more
Hence why I disable themes, startup services/programs etc, computer wont have any issues but as i always say, the faster the better -
