For all of those that want to take their desktops with them, now you can (kind of). VNC is a wonderful program, but takes some time to master fully.

The problem I have is that the ISPs are starting to block connections like this and there's no way to get them to add holes in their firewalls.

Very true, but I would not suggest anyone using dial-up to access the desktop remotely...things just run to slowly.
