I was trying to connect to a friend through remote assistance via my desktop, but for some reason it didn't work after letting the ports through and etc. So, I decided to use my laptop instead since it's much newer.

I recently reformatted my laptop and got rid of all the Dell crap that came pre-installed. I did install all of the drivers that I needed. When I went to remote assistance. This came up:

I searched by google and couldn't find anything. When I go to "Help and Support" everything works fine, but going through remote assistance doesn't work.

Any ideas in fixing these problems?

    Thanks.

Try a checkmark in Remote Desktop? Just guessing here as I've never used it.
