I am trying to start the remote access connection manager service in Vista, in hopes of getting my modem to work. I get error 1068, the dependency service or group failed to start. I have a HP Pavilion notebook. When trying to set up a dial-up connection I get the following error " could not detect a dial-up modem". Any help would be apreciated.

Modem drivers installed? Download the latest driver from your HP driver page.
