I have tried the uninstall from the programs menu, I have tried the uninstall from the control panel menu, I did a search for AVG and deleted the files, But the program is still there. every time i re-boot it ask for a damn license #. and it's driving me crazier then i already am.
I am currently running Vista Home Premium.

I ran into the same problem as you and couldnt find the solution to the problem besides reformatting my computer. The next time you install AVG remember to write down the license number. Here you can try mine if you would like to see if it works: 70FREE-TX-L7Z2U-IB-P1-C01-SIJTY-QEN-1WSV Good luck
