    how do i remove battery icon when running in battery mode ?

    Short of a hack, you can't turn this off in XP.

    Are u on Win XP sp2 ?

    If u r then i guess u can use the powercfg.exe from cmd

    try powercfg.exe with this parrameter "powercfg /globalpowerflag off /option:batteryicon"

    can't u rite clik on the taskbar and go 2 properties and like put always hide??...or sumting like that??/

    yes using WinXP SP2.

    i tested, but did not work.

    Can you only turn off the AC power indicator? Because it shows options for turning off the icon in the power management properties through control panel and also if you right click the taskbar and go to properties, you can customize which icons show even when they are active.

    right click on it>adjust power properties>advanced>deselect always show icon on the taskbar

    It worked on mine, just tried it.

    sorry it only worked on the AC, but u can do always hide

    yea...i would do hide...it's much easier than actually trying 2 remove the icon completely..i think
