While ago I created groups in on my windows live messenger account for all my classes, but now they're out dated so I'm trying to figure out how to remove these groups from my account permanently. Any Ideas? I know I can choose "Sort contacts by status" but I'd rather just remove them completely.

If I choose "Remove group" under "Contacts" it'll just delete everyone in that group so right now I had to move everyone manually (one-by-one omg...) into one group as a temporary solution.

    help.

I have msn plus and there's an option in it "Contact list Clean-up"

But then again it gets u a list of all ur contacts (not divided into groups) but it's easier to delete them then but u still need to delete one by one
