Right; I know this probably sounds really stupid, but how can i reset the sort by in folders in vista, I had to sort songs by name the other day so i could send afriend a song, but now its stuck sorting by name, and the name colum is shaded and it has a small arrow, which is really stressing me out (ocd case)
How can i reset it back to default?

-
Click on View Tab, then choose anything but "details" and see
cheers ... -
I found an example of what you meant in my data partition, but I don't think its possible to remove a sorting criteria from a given directory... at least, there is no way that I can find.

oh right, ill just have to try making a new user account and transfering all the files over or somthing. thanks anyway

Try this and see if it is what you want. Place your cursor in the empty column heading to the right of "Rating" in your attachment and right click. Tick another column type such as "Tags". When the new column type appears it will be shaded with an arrow. Again right click in the empty column heading to the right of "Tags" and untick "Tags". Shaded columns and arrows are now gone. Yikes, I think I am getting a "Tick"

Thanks
And another thing, when you change the colour of the Aero Glass on vista, there is still a 1 pixel line down the right side and the bottom of the window which is like a greenish colour... is this just because of my graphics card or does it do it to everyone? -
Update:
The green line only appears on windows which are active, when you click off the window it disapears -
This is normal with Vista.
