Hi I have a Lenovo Y580, and several weeks ago I installed Ubuntu to try it out, everything went fine until I try to get rid off it, so I formated the partition Ubuntu was using. It worked, but the entry in the EFI (UEFI?) is still present, everything works just fine but it bugs me to have since I dont want it there and from time to time when I turn the PC on, a message appear like it was trying to start Ubuntu first. I tried resetting my PC to factory settings but it seem the EFI partition kept intact because it didnt work. So anyone have a way to get rid of it? or maybe deleting and creating a new EFI partition?
