Sometimes when you are installing or uninstalling software, it tells you that you need to restart your computer. Now, this may be a stupid question, but give me a break :p

Can I just completely log off rather than restarting windows for user specific software?

I ask because I am tired of restarting 10 times in a row! Okay, maybe I exaggerated a bit there..

If you're installing more than one program...just install all the programs at once, and restart once.
If it's just one program...just restart it. I don't think a log off reloads ALL of the drivers...so just restart just in case.
