Is there any add-on or maybe settings you can tweak that allows you restore a session without loading the pages? So when you restore and are not connected you can still view your previously closed pages offline.
Thanks in advance

Just make sure that you don't empty out the cache by mistake, either via FF or another cleaning app in the background

what exactly does the cache do?

It stores your history, your visited pages ....

but not all right?
the thing is, i could do this with my old FF.
I would close pages (even with youtube vids) open them up when i'm no longer online and they'll still be there. Now it doesnt happen again.
It works with Opera but I kinda prefer FF. only this... -
Many video streams will not work when you are off-line since it is only links within a page. You can expand the cache size to store the vids, but keep in mind that they might not be able to be viewed from an offline link, but you have to dig them out through the cache.

I've been using Session Manager for a month or so now and it works really well:
