This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Restore Session add-on for Firefox help

    Is there any add-on or maybe settings you can tweak that allows you restore a session without loading the pages? So when you restore and are not connected you can still view your previously closed pages offline.

    Just make sure that you don't empty out the cache by mistake, either via FF or another cleaning app in the background ;)

    but not all right?
    the thing is, i could do this with my old FF.
    I would close pages (even with youtube vids) open them up when i'm no longer online and they'll still be there. Now it doesnt happen again.
    It works with Opera but I kinda prefer FF. only this...

    Many video streams will not work when you are off-line since it is only links within a page. You can expand the cache size to store the vids, but keep in mind that they might not be able to be viewed from an offline link, but you have to dig them out through the cache.
