This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Restore points keep disappearing!

    Hey there

    I've had this same issue in both Vista and now Windows 7 where my system restore points keep disappearing.

    It's not because I'm using the disk cleanup function either.

    I run a dual boot with XP...

    ...so I'm wondering if that is the problem as I think I have the Vista/Win 7 partition monitored in XP.

    Would anyone be able to shed some light on this for me?
