So, I'm having some issues with Virtual PC and I think I'm going to switch to a dual boot Windows kind of deal which should solve my problem.

What I need to be able to do, though, is restore the comp to a clean install as quickly and easily as posssible. I have an 80 gb external for back-up.

Is there software I use for this or what? I need to totally wipe the comp and put it back to how it was at initial install (after adding some drivers, firefox, etc) perhaps as often as daily (or more). Free is good here but speed/effectiveness is most important.

I would invest in some backup software to make sure everything is done nice and neatly.

But there are some free tools out there, just look them up on google.

How long should i anticipate a restore taking? And is it complete, as in, will the computer be returned to the exact state it was in previously?
