Today After I just reinstalled windows and loaded all my programs. I powered my Dell M1330 computer and was presented with a message NTLDR missing. I tried everything I could but could not fix it. I reinstalled Windows to restore a Drive Image I had just made using DriveImageXML I tried to restore it but it says that "Target partition must not be the system drive."

I heard that you can boot with bartpe, but it is for windowsxp. Are there any other ways that I can restore the image? I really dont want to set up windows after all the work I did. Thanks

From my personal opinion I would say use Acronis True Image. However you will have to do it all over again then create the image.

Does DriveXML have a boot disc? If so you will need to erase the main drive then restore the image. I'm sorry but that is all I can tell you.
