So I'm restoring this VP's personal laptop and I have a slight problem. The machine was having serious problems so I drive erased it and installed XP. Its a acer travelmate 4400. I just got XP professional installed on it. Now that I have it set up and running. None of the internal drivers are present. It's not even detecting the internal wireless card. So I can't get online with it. I've tried searching for a restore disk for it but I can't find one short of paying for from possible bogus venders.

    Any ideas or directions?

Go Here and download the correct wireless driver, safe it to a USB Thumb drive then install it on the VP's personal laptop, then go back to that website since internet should work and download all the other drivers.

Don't forget about the Acer Euro FTP! Click here for XP drivers, and here for Vista ones.
