I wanted to try Windowblinds because I wanted to make the background of my windows explorer grey, however it didn't work as I wanted but unfortunately it changed all the custom settings I had in place. I saved my theme before doing any changes but for example font size was modified everywhere.

Is there a way to go back to my custom UI settings? I am on win 8.1

Have you tried windows system restore, check for your last restore point, some anti-virus need to be disabled for it to complete successfully, Kaspersky for one, i have to disable the self-protection.
