Hi guys, I upgraded to windows 7 but for various reasons thought it would be better to revert back to vista. I backed up all my files from vista before my upgrade to windows 7, but now I am not sure how to get vista back to my previous configuration. Since its a new computer the only thing that is dificult to replace is my itunes library which is about 12GB, . All the files are in compressed backup folders, I think there are over 150 folders, so it isn't practical to manully transfer individual folders.

I tried running the backup restore/recovery, but vista doesn't recognize the backup files. I am sure there is a way to do it, so I would appreciate any help.

Yes I got Vista working fine. But it was a clean installation so I don't have any of my previous file or programs. I had backed up Vista on an external drive before I went to Wiindows 7 figuring I could just go back to my previous Vista configuration if I didn't like or didn't want to keep Vista. I used my recovery disc that came with the computer to restore it.

Like I said before the only thing I really want to recover is my Itunes library, which is scattered through the 150+ compressed backup folders.
