For those of you that need to edit/encode/convert videos on a regular basis you may want a good piece of specialized software to help with that.
So far of all the paid software I have tried this is probably my #1 pick as it has a ton of features that are very useful to have built into a good all in one program.

This is way more versatile, the dvd burn feature is just part of it not its entire goal.

If I was trying to make just simple DVD movies I would use free software called DVD Flick - DVD Flick

hmm....I haven't heard about this software as much as the ConvertXtoDVD though...and I would only use free dvd authoring software for dvd only as last resort since those are at the authors discretion when it's gets updated and the paid program has customer staff to address problems sooner and likely faster to fix since it is their bread and butter program.

Here what I found on the review of each:

    Wondershare
Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate - CNET Download.com

Some reviews didn't give it good remarks?? You might want to look at those user reviews and see what they are talking about?

    ConvertXtoDVD
    ConvertXtoDVD - CNET Download.com

One that talks about virus but sounds like something the poster got themself and since they didn't mention where they got the program most likely it was pirated program that is why they got the virus and didn't download from the legit site.

This from several reviews: "converted videos have a watermark, trying to get you to buy premium software" is a deal breaker for those looking for a free solution.

That also a deal breaker for me as well.....and waiting for a reply from ViciousXUSMC as to those reviews given on the software Ultimate version....Deluxe is good but Ultimate is probably the higher version of their software.....
