V325 doesn't have bluetooth. You would need a USB cable and download Moto tools. BTW, a lot of usb cables from Digital cameras and other devices are compatible with Motorola phones.

For Motorola phones you'll need a few programs. P2K Commander is good for moving music/pictures/ringtones to the phone. You'll need Motorola Software Update utility to get the phone into the right mode for transfer. Finally, you'll need to download the Motorola phone driver installer, which allows the computer to recognize the phone when connected by USB.

So, in summary, get the following utilities:

    Motorola Driver Installer
    Motorola Software Update utility
    P2K Commander

Audacity (GREAT freeware software for cutting and editing mp3's for ringtones)

I don't believe all of those utilities are pay-for, but P2K Commander might be. Warez links aren't allowed on the site, so you can Google it if you really want. However, they might all be free, I know for sure the other 2 are. None are hard to find at all. Have fun!

You don't need all of that if you just use Moto tools. You can just drag n drop.

I use to use Audacity as well for cutting MP3's for ringtones.

what i found usefull was makeownringtone.com (free tool)
it lets your edit and save the part of the song you want as your ringtone
then upload the result to your phone using BitPim (free software)
