i have adobe premiere. basically i need to rip some DVDs to edit and crop out portions for web. I'll be using flash 8 to post the files, but i need first the software to rip the DVD. what is the best software to maintain HD quality?

I join the question since I was about to post a new thread about it.
Is '#1 DVD Ripper' really number one? Is it true that 64bit CPUs can rip twice as fast as 32bit ones and if yes with what program?
Thanks -
Try DVDFab Decrytper. The rip speed is usually limited by the drive not the CPU.

That'd be a trick, since DVDs are not HD. What format do you need to rip to? Check out www.videohelp.com for a bunch of tools. -
Handbrake + Virtual dub should do the trick.
