This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I would note that RMClock beta 2 caused me a BSOD. The cause is to be investigated but beta 1 didn't crash for me (even if it didn't work perfectly).

    Therefore use with care and at your risk. For most people the attraction will be opening up the range of lower voltages (= less heat) available at normal CPU speeds.
