Anyone else crazy about security with laptops out in the wild? What policies does your employer require/what do you use?

My current setup is a truecrypt encrypted hard drive and an IPSEC VPN over to my home network using openvpn(re-route all traffic over VPN for security). both of which are free products ;)

What else are you guys using? Anyone using a hardware device to track the device if lost or stolen? What crazy setups do you use?

Here is what I used to get everything setup correctly if anyone is interested.

    OpenVPN server and client configuration:
    HOWTO
I use a dell mini with debian as the server(light weight, battery backup(hehe), and small power foot print) and my clients are windows 7 laptops(asus g60jx's).

    Truecrypt system encryption:
TrueCrypt - Free Open-Source Disk Encryption - Documentation - System Encryption
boot volume is encrypted as well as my SD card I use between the laptops.

If you are not supposed to share security practices with employer laptops no worries..I understand :)
