I wanted to post this on Rocket Dock's forum, but I think it might be down or something since I can't find it...
Anyways, I do not know why, but Rocket Dock refuses to do real-time previews when something is minimized to the dock. It's pretty much the only reason why I got it when I already have Object Dock.
The computer I'm running it on is brand new, fresh install of vista ultimate, using the drivers that Dell shipped. Sadly, it's using the x3100 for video, but that should be enough to do what I'm asking Rocket Dock to do. I mean, it's already handling the Aero theme...
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT:
I just found out that Object Dock does live previews as well and I tried to use them. The previews work whenever the window is open, but does not work when it is minimzed.
On their site, the demonstration video shows a minimized-to-dock WMP playing a video and the preview continues to play it.
Mine only takes a snapshot of what it was doing before it was minimized and uses that. Then it updates it when it gets restored.... I wouldn't call that "live"
Is there anything that I can do to fix this? Both ObjectDock and Rocket Dock refuse to do live-thumbnails of my windows....
