If I am installing an older version of a driver for my WiFi card and I click on "Roll Back Driver" in Properties, will it roll back to the previous driver even though it is an newer version?

I guess that would depend on whether the drivers have been updated.

If it can't do it, best thing would be to download the previous driver from the manufacturers website. Before installing make sure you delete the previous driver completely

    Here is the issue:

Recently, my computer automatically updated the driver through the Lenovo Toolbox.

Right around that time, but I can't be certain, I began having disconnects.

I want to go back to he old driver. However, if that is not the problem, I want the updated driver.

Would the Lenovo Toolbox find the updated a second time?

The new driver is not available on the support page on Lenovo's website.

Can't you download the driver directly from the adapter's manufacturer's website. Let's say it is an Intel, try grabbing the drivers from Intel.

I would also remove the new driver and install the old one afterwards.

    Yes I could.

I was told by someone on the Lenovo message board that Lenovo customizes the drivers with things like power management which I want. Also, there could be compatibility issues.

I was actually considering using the Intel driver. The latest version is
    14.2.0.10. Mine is at 13.2.

Is there any chance that using the Intel drivers could give a faster connection?

    What about power savings?

Intel wifi drivers are essentially the same as OEM provided wifi drivers. The wifi drivers are more generic and the OEM's don't do any customizations, so you can safely download the driver directly from Intel.
