    Guys,
Hope you can help me with this one.

Using Vista, and I'm the only account on the machine.
When I go into the properties of a program to check the box "Run this program as Administrator," it's faded out, and I can't for the life of me work out how to get it to unfade so that I can check the box.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers,
    Macks

    Right-click, then Properties.
If it's a shortcut, go to the Shortcut tab, click the Advanced button, then check Run as Administrator there.
If it's not a shortcut, go to the Compatibility tab, click the "Show settings for all users" button, then check Run as Administrator there.

    Cheers swarmer.
    Managed to fix it beforehand.
Still a few more things in Vista to iron out, but otherwise I'm doing ok.
    Useless, useless game support though...
