Do you have a restore point to try?
And if I remember right that service has to do with a printer. -
Yes i have. I ´ll try run Ccleaner to fix reg.error.
I think i´ve read somewhere it has something with printer,I have wifi printer and i don´t use it very often and it works well, i tested the printer yesterday and it is ok. -
Spool is the system's printer job cache. Lets say you want to print three different documents, all at the same time. One gets sent to the printer, while the other two wait for their turn in the Spool.
Don't know if this will help, but you can try it. Do the following:
- Click Start and go to "Devices and Printers".
- Right-click on your printer icon and select "See what's printing".
You should now see the spool. Maybe there something in there that stuck? If so, you could try "Cancel All Documents". Spoolsv is also the name of the service which handles this, you could try going into services and look for "Printer Spooler". Mine is set to 'Automatic'. Is your started? Can you start it if it is stopped?
Also, I have my Epson printer set to display a preview. This gives me a chance to cancel a printing job. If I was going to test the Spool, I would queue at least two files and send them to the printer. One would go to the preview and the other would go to the Spool. It is at this point I would go and "See what's printing".
Sorry for the rambled thoughts as I'm in need of sleep. Good luck. -
ccleaner (and glary, and most/all of the rest) does NOT fix registry 'errors'.
These programs indiscriminately DELETE registry entries that appear to be inconsistent. It is up to the user to understand what the cleaner is doing.
If you don't understand the entries, you probably shouldn't be deleting them -
Ccleaner will find and fix the register problems and NOT deleting them, and it`ll ask you if you want to repair that register entries and do a backup of them before repairing.
Kalim: I´ve no documents on que to print.
Thanks. -
Noooo, the 'fix' is a delete and while it's nice to have 'backup' .reg files to reverse the changes, users still suffer from 'I trust the computer program' way too often.
