If you can get your hand on a english XP Pro CD, Microsoft should validate it for you since you have a valid COA.

When I went to their site to post this query, their websites says " if the product was already installed on your computer when you purchased it, then contact the computer manufacture", which I think will be difficult. Is there any way out?

Kinda lousy of Microsoft - you can add a Multi-User Interface to the English version which would allow you to see menus in Russian or Spanish, but you apprarently can't add one to the Russian (localized) version that let's you use other languages.

There is a (small) chance that your computer is using the english version with the Russian MUI and you just need to disable that, but that seems unlikely.
