Hey. I went to best buy to get the upgrade from 2000 to XP, but I accidentally bought the Windows 2000 home to Windows XP Home. I forgot that I had windows 2000 pro, so the upgrade from 2000 pro to XP home didn't work and I needed to buy the XP Pro upgrade.

Now I have this open but unused XP home upgrade. I have no use for this, but since I opened it, I can't return it. Does anyone want to buy it? It cost about $100 from best buy, and I'll sell it for $40 or something. Just offer if you're interested.

    Thanks

Edit: Preferred payment method = Paypal

Price can be lowered, I'll take any offers.

Is this the right forum to be trying to sell this?

This isn't a for sale forum. Try eBay. Good luck trying to sell an upgrade disk - maybe if you have no reserve and start the bidding at $0.01 you may get some bidders. Make it no longer than a three day auction.

I don't understand why you need to sell it. Unless you need XP Pro, the disc you got should work just fine to go from 2000 to XP.

Good info...well, DHS, you may be stuck w/ the disc...unless you have a friend that needs one.
