i have bought Dell studio 1537 laptop
with original windows vista Home premium
now by some means the windows get corrupted, i can still log on to the windows but it does not work as that as it was in the start i think it is corrupted
note: when i bought that laptop i found a drive called "RECOVERY"
someone tell me how to use that recovery
i have tried to work on the above option but does not succeeded i dont know whaere is the problemCategoryComputers & Internet > Hardware > Laptops & Notebooks

-> hit F10 (or whatever it is for Dell) at startup, that would allow you to use the recovery partition - however, employing that WILL DELETE anything you have on your computer unless it has the option for a repair install, which I doubt.
-> alternatively, boot into safemode (F8) and run as a command line without the quotes "sfc /scannow" this will check the system files and replace any corrupted files. (This will leave your files untouched)
-> alternatively - there could be a HDD issue at the heart of your problem too. It might help if you specify "does not work as that as it was in the start" because that could refer to virtually anything.
