I recently bought an HP dv2222nr that originally came with XP home. I made my 3 recovery disks but forgot to copy C://swsetup before I wiped the latop and realoded Windows XP Pro. Does anyone still have these files and if so, will you please upload them and send me the link? Thanks

I recommend http://www.hp.com

I don't think HP.com has the software setup stuff (any software that came with your notebook), it only has the drivers as far as I know. You may be able to get a disc for your notebook if you want some of the software.

You can get recovery disks from HP that include the swsetup files. They do charge for shipping.
You can get them through the help/support link on your desktop or at their website. -
/sigh....
SWSETUP is the directory they generally put their driver files. -
Thanks! The reason that i need the SWsetup folder is because I need the original programs that came on it like, quickplay and rhapsody, etc...

If you can find a place for me to dump the files, I'll put 'em up for you.

Thanks BattleCry!!
How much space do you need? -
It's 2.2GB for the whole thing.. Unless you just want something specific, then I can just send you what you want.

Thanks BattleCry, I have created a shared space on flipdrive, but I need your email address to send you the email that it generates with the info to upload the files. Thanks!!
