Hi, I own a samsung qx411 laptop with windows 7 home (64-bit). The little battery indicator on the taskbar is constantly stuck at 99% despite my attempts at discharging for the past hour or so. I have enabled 'battery life extender' in bios which basically has the battery stop charging after 80% capacity. Normally, with this on, and when the computer is charged past the 80% capacity, it slowly drains until it hits 80%, where it would stop. However, recently after a battery bar update (not sure if this was the cause), ive noticed that despite having the battery life extender enabled and computer charged beyond 80% it would be stuck at that respective % capacity!

Ive uninstalled battery bar, and used the SMART calibration tool, yet the battery remains at 99%.

any input on fixing this? thanks!

Hi i'm new and i bought a qx411 from bestbuy. I rese on some documenta that it will have a duration of the battery of "up to 8h 49m", but I charged it and my maximum is 6h and 30m. Is it normal or it could be a problem?

    Thank you in advance.
