    Hi,

I have the most up to date version of Firefox, but it never saves any of my passwords when I tell it to. Each time after telling it to save my passwords, I still have to enter the passwords manually.

I've read that this is fixed in the 3.0.3 version but I still seem to be having this problem.

    Help would be most appreciated.

Well, I'm usind Firefox for some time now, and I'm up to 3.0.3 and it works for me.

So, the software itself works (seemingly)

    a) do you accindentally delete your passwords when cleaning your browsing history from Firefox?
    b) do you use any tools to delete temporary files, like CCleaner? They can delete passwords.
    c) do you delete cookies? A lot of sites use cookies, so Firefox saves the password, but you still ave to start typing- after the first letter you get a "selection" of possebilities (normally one) and hit enter, it inputs it for you

    d) If nothing helps - have you tried saving your links and deinstalling then reinstalling Firefox?

Does Firefox clear passwords on close?

I don't think it does - but there may be a setting to do so.

Or rather a setting to clear temporary files when closing (I believe that exists) and this somehow includes passwords maybe...

    There's a setting, I use it.
    I'm asking if it's enabled.
