While playing games like Dragon Age: Origins, my computers CPU runs at 100% capacity ( 10-15% when simply surfing the internet ) Driving my Core temp to 80C+, Havent seen it pass 81C yet but it gets there FAST ( Within Minutes )
The built in fan seems to be working fine, and I have a Targis Cooling pad that has worked fine for me before, but it doesnt seem to be able to cut the cake here. ( all fans on the pad are working as well )
I am NOT a computer expert, but here is what I have tried:
-Lowered graphic settings to minimum, ( didnt work worth a crap, and I have played many other games and max graphics, including crysis, with no issues, well thats not totally true, it gets hot as hell with crysis as well )
-Set application priorities to the lowest setting ( Lowered the CPU drain SLIGHTLY, but had no real effect on the temp.
-Tried to run RMclock to try what I researched as "undervolting", not 100% sure how it works yet, but I heard its pretty hard to mess up. Unfourtunatly, while I was able to install the program, it refused to run with this error:
![]()
No matter what I do I cant get that to work...
What other information is needed to hopefully see what the issue is here?

Get the rtcore64 driver, like mentioned in "the undervolting guide"
Anyway, i can recommend you CPUGenie which is another program used to undervolt computers.. Its way bette than rmclock which is out of date and doesnt work right with a lot of cpu's.
