Greetings!
I just scored a loaded Precision M70 (2.13 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 80 GB HD, WUXGA display, DVD/RW, in almost new condition for $410...not bad, eh), and I want to install Vista Ultimate x32 on it. The thing is, I do not know where to get the drivers for each component, as they are not posted on Dell's website. I was wondering if anyone has a similar system that they installed Vista on, and if they could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

LOL what a coincidence, I have precision m70 that has vista ultimate 32bit installed on it
First of all vista supports most of the hardware devices so you won't have many drivers to install. If I remember correctly, All you need are the wireless drivers and Keycard drivers. There might be 1 or 2 more but I don't remember.
I have them all installed on my computer and it's fully working. If you'd like I could send you all the necessary drivers. Or you can download them off dell.com/support -
Haha, thats good go hear. How's the machine's performance?

It's pretty decent I must say.
I'm sure you'll be happy with it
BTW I love the m70 it runs nice n cool and has a fantastic screen and chassis. -
Thanks again for the info and the link

Good find!I'm still super happy with my M70 running Vista. No additional drivers needed - Vista correctly detects and installs every single piece of hardware including the WiFi (mine's the TrueMobile 1450 a/b/g), the keycard as well as the BlueTooth. You may find the fans running too often with the default graphics driver, but Windows Update installs an updated driver - which is still a year old currently, so another graphics driver update would be nice!
Scored a Precision M70, want Vista Ultimate on it.
