Does anyone have the issue where you screen will change to a lower resollution after you resume from hibernation or sleep and then change back to the regular resolution?

Is there anyway to change this?

I used to have this problem when I owned an Inspiron 1521, but it had to do with the ATI catalyst settings. I never found a fix because I only had the system for about 1 month, but I don't think your issue is the same anyway as it appears that you have an nVidia card.

is there some full-screen programs or games running before its hibernation ?
if not, you may need to update your graphic driver...
