i have a Alienware mx15 , Windows 7, it starts to load and then the screen flashes , I can go to safe mode but normal it won't load past the Alienware logo screen , any help is appreciated.

I did restore and it worked but I ran defrag and it must have erased restore points because I can't restore now due to no restore points .

Ok, so it only worked for a while. Thee ae more than likely no restore points as using the system the newer ones erased and older ones just became unusable. This is normal, once working properly it is best to create a safe restore point.

Sounds like a video driver issue, try reverting the video driver only

You could try older video driver installations. be sure to uninstall the old drivers first,

Is this what it is doing ?

    This is sergio's fix:

Click start, computer,ur harddrive disk, program files, alienware, command center, then click the second file, forgot.the name inside that file u will find a file named fast access un install it then reboot.

Seems a file named fast access causes flashing on some pc's, several said it worked-Sergios uninstall

"Sergio thank you so much this fixed it on my m15x",,ect

Give it shot, go to safemode and delete the file fast access, then repost results.. :)

    Cheers
