Hi all. I'm using Vista Home Premium (64-bit) and i seem to have come across a rather annoying bug. For some reason my screen resolution often changes when I take my computer out of screen saver. It doesn't happen all the time but more often than not it will go to screen saver at max resolution (1920x1260 I think) and when I bring it out it's changed to a mid-range resolution.

Anyone got any ideas? It's not a major pain in the wossnames but it's more than a little irritating!

Interesting find.... I had this problem with my external monitor sometime back. But after a driver update it went away, so I thought it was a driver bug.

So I'd say first try the work around in that post, if that doesn't work then try a driver upgrade.

No special screen saver, just the basic 'cycle through my pictures' option. I'll see if a driver update is any good when I get the chance (go on holiday in a couple of days so until then things are pretty hectic!).

I'll let you know how it goes.
