This happens maybe every week or every two weeks. I'll leave the computer with a WN+L to log off and close the lid. When I come back and open the lid, the screen won't come back on. I can log on blindly and if I remember how to shutdown, blindly. But whatever I do I cannot get the screen to come back on without a restart! I've tried doing the fn+8 to change to secondary screen, etc, even tried hooking up another screen, nothing works. If I hibernate from this state, when I come back from hibernate it will show the windows logo AND THEN AGAIN GO BACK TO A SHUT OFF SCREEN.

    HELP!!!

Try new drivers for your GPU.
